Mini-Suite with Balcony (Connecting Stateroom) (M8) Cabin Reviews

Sail Date: November 2018
Beautiful cabin with a layout conducive for 2 adults and 2 children ages 11 and 13. I prefer the bed closer to the back of the room, as it gives you more space upon entrance into the stateroom. Amazing bathrooms on this ship!

My cabin had two double/queen beds for my daughter and I. There was a couch, long desk/dresser, adequate storage space - here, there, and everywhere, very nice bathroom/shower with body wash and shampoo dispensers, and a delightful balcony. Our cabin steward made sure we had a "towel" animal every night! He was also very accommodating and kept our room looking top notch although we hardly ever saw him (but we knew he had been there!)!! As in the main review, Do Not book these cabins. Directly over Cavern Bar band area. Noise was horrible.

The rooms were nice, boat is still new. The bathrooms were larger than any other boat we had been on. The balcony is a necessity when cruising, especially through Alaska, so I highly recommend.

The cabin was really nice. Since the entire boat had that "new-ship smell", we felt very comfortable in our cabin. The bathrooms had plenty of space, including a step-in tub, hand-held shower sprayer, a dual-sink vanity, the throne and room to actually walk around. It just didn't feel like a cruise ship bathroom. The balcony was of decent size and the stateroom itself was well appointed. One disappointment was there was only one section, in the middle of the room that had power outlets. There were wall-mounted up-lights on each side of the bed, as well as a nice bright reading lamp what articulated in many directions. The fixture also accommodated a USB plug to charge your device. The sliding door to the balcony was durable, but easy to maneuver. Read Less
