I've had a mini-suite on RCCL before and was very impressed with the size, layout, and general amenities afforded to us. I did NOT get that impression on Bliss. Also, I have no idea how these categories work. I was traveling with family and we had 3 rooms on the 14th floor, all close to one another. My cousin paid for a regular balcony stateroom, I had a mini suite, and my parent's had a higher category mini suite which they paid more for. Each one of us had the EXACT same room! Read Less

Very pleased with the cabin, relatively big considering previous cabins we've stayed in. Very clean, and the bathroom was nice as well.

My sister and I and parents enjoyed two, mid-ship mini suites. They are solid and have all the modern trappings of a cruise ship built in the last couple of years: small reading lights and USBs near the bed, good heating and cooling systems, some hidden storage to maximize space. The bathroom is enhanced with a double vanity and a sizable shower with body jets. Overall, though, the layout and feel of the cabin itself is un-discernible from a balcony on the Bliss or any other Breakaway Plus Class ship. Unless you're getting a stellar deal (which we did), there is not a reason convincing enough to book this category. We actually set out months ago to book one room in the Haven which quickly sold out, which was a bummer. Our room steward was exceedingly kind and attentive. Read Less

In addition, we were not told in advance that there was a tub and not a shower in the room. We had a difficult time getting in and out of the high tub. Read Less

We had the mini-suite with balcony. The bathroom was nicely equipped with a dual vanity and large shower. The room was spacious with very comfortable beds and pillows. The balcony was large enough and private enough and allowed us to capture some wonderful sunrises and sunsets. A little tight getting around from the sleeping area to the sofa. We wish there was a small coffee table in the living space. We did not like the fact that you can't charge your phones if your not in the room. The electric shuts off if your Key Card is not inserted. Read Less

Bliss to Alaska : Cabin 14174
The bed was comfortable. This ship is new so we expected it to be clean and it was. The bathroom had a shower which was a good size.

seriously...bring your earplugs. better yet, pick another room. this one is right below the bandstand/ dj place on the pool deck. no way you can nap or relax in the afternoons. could hear kids running, chair and carts moving all day/night. i have booked many cabins below the pool deck/ buffet and never had this problem. smallest mini suite i have ever had. hardly any room...maybe 12 inches between foot of bed and the wall at the foot of bed. drawer space? non existent. 2 cupboards with 2 shelves each and a few shelves in the closet. it is enough for 2 light packers, but you will have problems with space otherwise. balcony is about 6 ft by 10 ft by my measurements stepping it out. very tiny. for the money, i'd have just booked a regular balcony. only perk of this cabin is the double sink. no tub like i usually have in mini suites (i knew that when i booked, to be fair, but had no idea this cabin is this tiny.)
