we wanted to experience the west side of Mexico. Long Beach. we flew from DAL as our flight from SHV was cancelled 24 hours prior to flight time. We will always fly Southwest again. The airport at LGB is so much easier than LAX and the port is actually in Long Beach even though they call it Los Angeles. We stayed downtown 2 nights as it was New Years eve.Great hotel close to the beach and we ...

My 1st Cruise!

Review for Norwegian Bliss to Bahamas

I went on the cruise with my best friend for spring break. We are both 21 years old. I had the time of my life on this cruise, and I’m looking forward to cruising with Norwegian in the future, but there were a few things that surprised me. We were not permitted on the tender boats to go to great stirrup day due to wind. It was really a bummer to get 1 day in the Bahamas on a 7 day cruise. We were ...

We chose the bliss out of New York City as a vacation from winter in New England. Excellent activities staff. Daily Zumba type class each morning with different staff members. Nights of dancing at sugar cane mojitos bar to excellent band duo nice crowd of Latin dancing and lessons from the fellow passengers a party atmosphere. Ginger mojitos great. We chose the Bliss because of an excellent experience on the Gem October 2019 for Halloween. We’ve been away from NCL for a while enjoyed RCL but there activities have been lacking lately. So loving the Ncl dancing opportunities. Every night we enjoyed the sugarcane mojitos bar with excellent music from Gold river duo. Excellent ginger mojitos. Great drink called Saturn landing. But the ...

Second Time on the Bliss was OK but Wasn't exactly the Charm

Review for Norwegian Bliss to Bahamas

Was on the Bliss last year just a few months after her inaugural. I really liked the ship observation lounge and thermal spa so thought I would give it another try. On that first cruise on Bliss I was disappointed by the quality of the food in the garden buffet and the offerings of the lunch menus in Taste, Savor but hoped it was just a matter of giving them time to work thru issues on a new ...

Great ship & dining. Missed stop and ship rocking just small inconveniences.

Boarding began rough, with a long line caused by equipment malfunction in the port of Manhattan, NYC. By the time we got in, it was nearly 4 PM, an hour after the listed sailaway time. The ship only left port at 5:40 PM, nearly 3 hours late. Buffet was less crowded than usual on embarkation day, and stateroom was ready with luggage by the time we boarded the ship. Sailaway party was cancelled due ...

Great ship and food, but we had an island cancelled and horrible embarkation.

The ship was awesome, but embarkation was terrible. We were supposed to board at 12 and leave at 3 but we only got on at 3:30 and the ship left at around 6. We also had terrible rocking the 2nd day/night as well as the last day. They also cancelled Norwegian's private island destination in the bahamas, giving us an extra sea day and pushing our florida stop a day late. The food was great in ...

We chose the NCL Bliss, because it is big and new and will bring us to our long planned destination -- South Caribbean. Unfortunately, captain announced after get onboard that we had to skip Puerto Rico due to waves (each passenger got $16 refund.) The previously NCL advertised Free bar, Free shore excursions, Free WIFI, Free specialty dining were not available at all. (You probably have to ...
