My nephew had a break at school so my sister took the opportunity to take him on vacation so she booked NCL Bliss. I had no plans on joining them but my mother talked me into it so I can keep them company. This turned out to be the best vacation of my life. We ate, drank, play, laugh ... it was fantastic. Weather - cloudy and occasionally wet. Typical PNW weather at this time of year. ...

My second Alaska cruise

I didn't pick this cruise, my bride did. One day out of the blue, she asked me "Can we go on an Alaska cruise?" We'd already been on one in 2017, but I didn't argue with her. It's a good enough cruise to do a repeat. We flew to Seattle the day before the cruise and stayed at the Waterfront Marriott. It's pricey, but across the street from the cruise port. It's close enough that the bell ...

ok I am not a professional cruiser YET. This was my 1st cruise and everything exceeded my expectations. We booked a 2-bedroom suite in the Haven, this turned out to be perfect for our multi-generational group. We had a great master bedroom and large shower w/ a jacuzzi tub. my mother had her own bedroom w/bath. and my adult son slept in the living room. the service started early and never ...

My wife and I as grandparents plus with the rest of our family of 9 additional people aged from ages 3 to 41 all just got back from a Jul~Aug NCL Bliss 7 night Alaska Dawes Glacier Juneau and Ketchikan cruise. ONBOARD STAFF: They all kept extremely busy dealing with the large crowds of demanding people and lines but most of the ships staff my family interacted with maintained genuine ...

We wanted personalized service and The Haven did just that. Our concierge Gian, our butlers Peter and Dominique, and every staff member aboard were so friendly and made sure we were well taken care of. We thoroughly enjoyed the production of The Jersey Boys. Keelan Layton, who played Frankie Valli, could not have been a better person for that role. His voice was amazing. Jay Worley and the ...

I chose the Bliss for my Alaskan cruise because of the class of ship. I absolutely love the layout of the ship! The Manhattan Room, Savor and Taste never disappoint! I also had dinner in 4 of the specialty restaurants. Cagney’s and LeBistro are the top of my list. The communication from the cruise director and captain were the best I’ve experienced! I attended the Platinum and Captain’s cocktail ...

An Alaskan cruise was on our bucket list, so we decided to go for our 25th Anniversary. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip. It was amazing scenery and the Bliss was gorgeous! There were a few things that weren't ideal, but in the end you have to just roll with it! I will, however, mention as much as I can (both good and bad). Less than ideal: *The downfall of the "Free at Sea" deal was that ...

Alaska is in my top 3 cruise destinations. It's a wondrous place filled with jaw dropping examples of nature. This cruise left from Seattle and sailed to Sitka, Juneau, Ketchikan, and Victoria. Spring in Alaska still offers snowy views in the mountains. Matter of fact, took the White Pass train ride into the mountains, but couldn't get to the tippy-top because of the amount of snow still on ...
