We selected this cruise for my sons 40th birthday celebration. This was my 4th Alaskan cruise. Twice on Celebrity and once on Princess. Overall we have cruised perhaps 15 to 20 times, first off the on boarding process was actually very good, lines were minimal and staff friendly. The ship was beautiful. We had a bad experience at Ocean Blue (Bad Rock Lobster) it was mushy and sour. The music was way too loud in the Atrium and I'm a musician!! I didn’t personally choose this cruise, my niece organized it for the family. The ship is beautiful as was my cabin. Food was good at all the restaurants. The crew was very helpful and friendly. The ship-- Nice ship with panaromic views of the scenery. It was enjoyable watching the whales play enjoying lunch and seeing the views. We chose this cruise because we wanted to go to Alaska. We have sailed about 5 times before but only on carnival so we were very excited.
