Pleasantly surprised with the cabin space although i tried to upgrade my stateroom (willing to pay), but at the mere mention of an upgrade, the customer service counter rep enthusiastically shouted "the ship is completely booked". This is my second cruise on the Carnival Glory. This ship sails out of Norfolk Va. twice a year so it is convenient to not have to worry about a flight to get to a cruise. I chose Glory again because it was visiting a different port in the Bahamas. I had high expectations for this cruise but was disappointed. Embarkation/Debarkation: This ship sailed out of Norfolk. You can expect about an hour or so of multiple lines getting on the ship. Once you get through the first line, it gets moving pretty quickly though, so I don't think it's too bad considering they have to get over 3,000 people checked in. Embarkation: We stepped onto the ship on deck three, in the Colors bar, where there were many servers touting the drink of the day. Because of our prior experience, we knew the drinks would be costly and avoided them.
