This was our 3rd time going to Alaska but our first time continuing on to Denali. We absolutely Love Alaska! and there is no better way than to travel than with Holland America! We sailed up several fjords to Harvard Glacier and many other glaciers (but I forgot all their names). The seas were very calm the weather was clear (luckily) and we even saw a pod of whales off our balcony! The staff ...

Picked up the 18 day Land and Sea Tour a few months ago. Great deal! We accepted a partially obstructed ocean view room. Just wanted to share what that means on deck 4. Overall we thought the experience was great. The land tour was wonderful. Just an FYI, the Holland Landmark Hotel is really showing it’s age It was clean but it is dated. The ride from Denali and from Anchorage were the best. ...

We've been on Disney, RC, NCL, and Carnival cruises and decided to give Holland a try for Alaska. I was pleasantly surprised and plan to go again! STAFF: Compared to a recent cruise on NCL, I felt the staff was far happier and genuine and I suspect it's because they are treated well. It was refreshing to see staff who came out (albeit briefly) to enjoy the views with us - I've always felt like ...

A great deal on a two week cruise around NZ came up at a good time so I jumped at it. My first time as solo traveller because my partner couldn't come due to a new job. I had no expectations about NZ's weather as it is not called the land of the long white (and often raining) cloud for nothing. But the weather and the Noordam turned out to be an absolute delight. Spectacular even. The ship is ...

We were scheduled to cruise Singapore to Tokyo on the Westerdam, but were concerned with Japan travel restrictions so decided to switch cruises. So glad we did. We had the aft corner Neptune suite, which gives a balcony on two sides of the stateroom. That was ideal for cruising Fjordlands National Park. When the attraction was on the other side of the ship, we went to the back. Unfortunately, ...

We had our MiddLe Eastern cruise cancelled and thought that by sailing around our own New Zealand and Australia we would be fine. It was great, we managed to book another cruise for the return to Australia but sadly they cancelled that in the week we had as a stopover in Auckland. Understand the situation completely. The Noordam is perfect for size for us, love the crew, well presented ship with ...

14 days on the newly renovated Noordam and felt thoroughly pampered every day. From the outstanding service of the room attendants to the doting Main Dining room staff ( we had a fixed 8pm seating and loved it!) this was a fabulous cruise. Turned out to be the retirement cruise of our HAL Captain John Scott so there we’re lots of unique touches and events to commemorate the event. The casino ...

Excellent and relaxing cruise

We heard that Holland America has a more mature passenger crowd and fewer kids. The activities are geared towards a more mature clientele, but there is still a kids club and swimming pool for the few kids who were on the cruise, but no water slides, etc. Holland America really went the extra mile to keep the guests happy. One of the sightseeing destinations On the itinerary was a morning of ...
