Two lower beds convertible to 1 queen-size bed, bathroom with dual-sink vanity, full-size whirlpool bath & shower & additional shower stall, large sitting area, , private verandah, 1 sofa bed for 1 person, floor-to-ceiling windows. Approximately 372–384 sq. ft. including verandah.
Because of the length of the cruise, we treated ourselves to a Signature Suite and were generally pleased. There were two desks, two sinks in the bathroom both a stall shower and a tub with a whirlpool and shower in the bathroom and ample space on the balcony. We were on Deck 6 mid-ship and found we liked that location; it was close to the elevators and the stairs, quiet, and the motion of the ship (we had rough seas on more than one occasion) was reduced. Our steward produced additional hangers when we asked and maintained our room well. If cost were not an issue, we would always travel in this type of cabin. Read entire member review >>
Really enjoyed 10 day cruise to Hawaii in Signature Suite (larger room with full sized couch and two chairs, full bathroom with tub, plus large balcony). Can't wait to book again with Holland America....maybe save our pennies and book the even larger Neptune Suite next time!
Was particularly nice at night, especially on two mornings when woke up early at 5:30 am, not to miss watching the sun rise while cruising into San Diego and Honolulu. Read entire member review >>
We had no hot water for the first week, they said they "fixed" the hot water a few times, and once by "fixing" it they turned all the water off for our suite and others. Once they finally resolved the issue the cabin was good. Spacious balcony with which to start the day and adequate closet and drawer space. Read entire member review >>
Roomy and nicely appointed. Generous bathroom with shower stall and shower/bath combo.Double sinks.
Lots of storage and big balcony.
The audiovisuals need upgrading. High quality tv with on-demand movies? iPod docking sound system? What about a clock? Read entire member review >>
The SY Suites have plenty of space with a full size bathroom including double washbasins and a separate spa bath. There was enough space on the verandah for us to chose to dine there a few times. Our cabin stewards David and Made looked after us beautifully, with twice daily servicing of the cabin, so there was always ice in our ice bucket. Small inclusions like personalised notepaper, and the Explorer booklet that detailed our cruise added to the feeling of being pampered. We were a little concerned that the cabin was located under a pool area. This proved to be no problem at all, there was little if any noise inside the cabin and on the verandah there was some scraping of furniture to be heard but nothing intrusive. This cabin was convenient to stairs to the pool, and elevators to the lower levels. Recommend this cabin. Read entire member review >>
Nice location. Convenient to elevators but far enough away not to be effected by the noise. Very nice sized balcony. Wonderful bathroom with jetted tub and a separate shower stall. plenty of storage space. Read entire member review >>
We had the superior veranda suite #6104. The bathroom was large with the double sinks, the separate shower and the tub/shower combo. There was more than enough closet space. We had no one across from us so there was not extra noise. We had so much room on our balcony. The room was near the aft of the boat and in the perfect spot. The room itself was large and very comfortable. Read entire member review >>

Good location, but most often no view to the dock (as usual on starboard side). Some noise from Lido buffet above, but not very disturbing. Connected with cabin 8097, but no noise heard from our neighbours. Read entire member review >>
SY cat on 6th floor upper verandah #6065 starboard approx 400 sf, loved it, had Riza and Fendi for stewards, wonderful, very large balcony, double vanity, separate tub and shower. Few dollars more than the standard verandah #6051 that friends stayed in. Read entire member review >>
The cabin was well designed with plenty of storage space and the cabin was very quiet during the cruise. The cabin did however have one major design flaw and that is that the air conditioning vent outlet is right above the heads of the passengers when in bed - not a good idea! The balcony was very nice with chairs and a table provided. Read entire member review >>
Great cabin. Lots of closet space, large generous bathroom, double sinks, double showers, whirlpool tub, large couch, coffee table, comfortable chairs, comfortable matresses, flat screen television, two desks - one vanity and one writing, large balcony with comfortable chairs and ottomans, plus table with two chairs for dining. Very little noise from above - other than occasional sliding of chairs on pool deck during the day or late afternoon when crew cleans up the lido. No salt spray issues, and generally protected from rain due to slight overhang of deck above. Read entire member review >>
Perfectly located, lots of closet and drawer space. Water was really hot in the shower stall but normal in the bathtub. Bed was really comfortable. Will definitely book this category of room again and recommend to others. Very creative towel animals, some I have never seen before. Read entire member review >>
