Two lower beds convertible to 1 queen-size bed, bathroom with dual-sink vanity, full-size whirlpool bath & shower & additional shower stall, large sitting area, , private verandah, 1 sofa bed for 1 person, floor-to-ceiling windows. Approximately 372–384 sq. ft. including verandah.
The cabin was extremely comfortable. It was nice and spacious and very clean. The bathroom was quite large with a double vanity, tub and separate shower. There was ample storage for everything. Multiple sets of drawers, 3 closets, stocked no host mini fridge and room safe. Also included was shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, lotion and a hair dryer. Our Room Steward was extremely efficient, courteous, friendly and nice. We had a couple of issues that he took care of immediately. We ordered the 12 liter bottled water package which came in very handy. It was waiting for us when we boarded. Read entire member review >>
Larger than normal cabin with great beds and a lot of room for storage. We loved it. Bath had both shower and tub, and 2 sinks. Veranda had more room, a table, 2 lounge chairs. Worth the upgrade if you can afford the difference. Read entire member review >>
Location slightly noisy during daytime with ping pong table above and older room had more room noises than most cruise ship rooms I have been in, but very tolerable for us. Nice having only one room on the inside side of this sections' hallway. Nice location for us.
Nice having separate tub with shower and just a shower stall. We each had our own to use! Excellent amount of storage space and hangers. Beds were terrific! Soap and products were wonderful. Read entire member review >>
Plenty of room and fixtures.Having a double sink was a bonus and the bathroom overall good size with room for us both when needed.Good size and well furnished balcony though due to the weather and the number of consecutive ports we weren't able to use as much as we had hoped.Cabin Staff did all that was asked of them though as stated in my main review perhaps were too eager to get us out of an evening so they could clean and finish their shift.
Good space to have room service breakfast which we did a few times...and would recommend.
Don't try the whirl pool in the bath as It seemed like it might explode in a shower of water Read entire member review >>
Once on the ship we went straight to our stateroom (6087) and our luggage was already in there. This was a Signature Suite and a great location to boot. No plumbing, electrical, HVAC or odor problems. Our cabin stewards were fantastic as always. Of course, the TV’s are still the old style so there is that. The ship will be undergoing an extensive overhaul/upgrade in 2018 and to tell you the truth, I’m surprised it is going to wait that long. She’s a great ship but definitely showing her age in a lot of areas. Read entire member review >>
cabin was spacious with a spacious balcony. We took advantage of the $20 bag of laundry and it came back folded with tees hung up! Cabin attendant was excellent too. Well worth the $300 per person upgrade Read entire member review >>
Cabin was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The balcony was huge compared to some on the newer ships we have been on. Noordam is showing her age and our cabin had some worn areas - especially in the bathroom. HAL adds the niceties that make them special - the wool throws for sitting out when cruising Glacier Bay, the binoculars provided for wildlife viewing, fresh fruit and flowers in the cabin, etc. and the extra level of service. Suite 8087, Navigation deck #8, located directly under Lido restaurant on starboard side about two thirds way aft, Well laid out with more than adequate closet space and quiet. Balcony quite large but as ship usually travels at 20 knots not very useful unless in tropics. No ship's motion was felt although this is the highest accommodation deck, having said that the crossing was in calm seas throughout.Other than verandah there is no dining table so room service not a good option.Excellent linen and comfortable queen mattress. Ships WI FI had strong signal in cabin but understandably was expensive and a little slower than land based broadband. Cable TV channels also limited(Fox, BBC, ESPN, CNN,TCM) but free videos available. Read entire member review >>
Very quiet mid ship cabin with lots of room.
Spacious balcony with 4 chairs, 2 tables and 2 foot rests.
Bathroom was great with jet-tub, separate shower stall and 2 sinks.
Enough closet space for 2 people to store all clothing needed for 7 days. Read entire member review >>
Huge bathroom with double sinks and a separate bathtub and shower. Large balcony with nice chairs and chair pads. Very comfortable bed. Good storage. Pillows could be replaced. Read entire member review >>
Our Superior Verandah suite (category SS) was surprisingly big with plenty of closet space. We didn't use all of it. Our stateroom was right below the Lido pool. This meant we had some noise from children running above us and chairs being moved. It was not obtrusive and it certainly didn't wake us up or gave us trouble sleeping, but still, if you're spending a lot of time on the veranda or if you love a daytime nap it can be disturbing.
It's also across from a galley. It didn't cause much disturbance, but the couple of times I noticed it, it was early morning. Read entire member review >>
Almost amidship right below Lido deck pool area. You do get some noise from people moving the chairs around if you are on the veranda but I don't recall hearing it when we were in the room. Good closet space, plenty of hangers. Good shelf space. Desk for makeup/hair, desk for writing/reading. Great balcony that gets shade and protection from rain. Good size bathroom with double sinks, whirlpool tub with shower along with another shower. Read entire member review >>
We were in 8078 and had lots of problem with noise above us. I was disappointed with the cabin size for a superior suite. Our suite was much larger on Royal Carribbean last year in the Grand Suite. We also had much better service last year. This year on HOlland we almost never saw our cabin steward. The view was fine and the location would have been good had it not been for the noise every morning. Read entire member review >>
