Nicely appoint room mid ship one deck up from the promenade deck. Close to lifts and next door to the cabins that were allocated to the entertainers on the ship. The TV was a bit old but who watches that much TV. I understand that at the end of this year the ship will undergo a refit similar to what was done on the sister ship Westerdam. Our next cruise after this was a follow cruise on the Westerdam to Alaska and we had a similar cabin with improved facilities. Read Less

The cabin was the usual HAL cabin, quite comfortable and well maintained and spotlessly clean. Bathrooms are quite small but have a small bathtub. Tub and sink drainage was very slow. TV screen was old and small and reception was mostly pretty woeful. Air-conditioning worked perfectly. The bed was bliss. Partial view was very partial in fact very tiny partial but at least there was daylight. Read Less

The location is forward, port. The balcony cabins start next door. We chose the room because we wanted light in the morning and took this step up from an interior. We were glad to see a floor-to-ceiling window but rarely had the curtains open because when open we had a view of the balcony next door and occupants there had a view into our room. We couldn't keep the curtains open at night because lights from the promenade deck were on all night. It was quiet, and convenient to get to from the forward elevators. There is limited drawer space as with all HAL ships of this class but there is a refrigerator. The bathroom has a tub. Because I like to keep the curtains open at night and wake to the sun I wouldn't choose this room again. Read Less

The cabin was large and airy with plenty of light. Extremely quiet. I would chose it again.
