Cabin 1119
Aug 2017
Likely the best interior cabin we have been in on many cruises. Larger and in good condition. The room was well laid out with lots of room for storage. A couple of strange things though: some drawers were locked (for no apparent reason) and therefore couldn't be used; and the TV couldn't be swivelled to be viewed from the bed. A shower door instead of the curtain would also have been nice. Not that it matters, but the fun towel sculptures were sort of sad, flat and we had to guess at what they were supposed to be.

Cabin 5161

We booked an inside room (which was clean and surprisingly had a lot of storage space). The lack of natural sunlight didn't bother us, and we actually liked that it was so dark (made it easier to sleep with the Alaskan midnight sun). The room was quiet, and even though the room was not in the middle of the ship (it was in the back), we had no problem with sea sickness.

Hit and Miss By: seattletrvlr
Satisfied with space and location. We chose to spend time in the public areas not our room. Worked great for us. Some people may need a guide to the storage - we poked around to know about the multi-functional uses that allowed us to get unpacked and make good use of our cabin.

Perfect Itinerary By: jmwpga
This was an inside cabin on the Upper Promenade deck and was perfectly satisfactory with a shower only bathroom which we prefer. It was located just before the aft elevator lobby but was quiet. Plenty of closet space.

I was in an inside handicapped room on deck 1. The room was great! It was just the right size. I know how big they are so I was expecting a good size room. It had plenty of closet space, and the bathroom was a great size. There wasn't a wall in the shower like there would be in a tub so the water would run all over the bathroom but there were extra drains. They had a huge sofa that went around the corner of the room. It could have had an additional outlet or two though. I was very pleased with the room however.

Cabin 1119

There does not seem to be an organized system of granting upgrades. We talked to several couples who had their rooms upgraded, after we were told before departure and on board, that none were available. The ones we talked to were either first time cruisers or Mariners who had fewer days than we had. Nonetheless, Cabin 1119 was more than satisfactory as we spent very little time in the cabin.
