We boarded the beautiful Noordam for the second time in two years on the understanding that we could use any part of the common area on the ship as on our previous cruise, only to find that we could not use the common area on deck 11 as there are now Cabanas. There is a clear notice that the area was private for paying Cabana users only, segregating the rest of the passengers from this previous ...

This was our second Transatlantic and third cruise with HAL and I had forgotten all the little thing that make the differences. I went to the gym to learn how to work out since I had put on weight prior to the cruise and was going to add some more weight due to eating the delicious food. Anyway, I did not know how to work the machines and wanted some help ...

EMBARKATION. I flew down to Bermuda for a few days and flew to JFK the morning of embarkation. the flight was delayed an hour which worried me a bit especially after the taxi from the hotel did not turn up. I got a bus from JFK to Grand Central Stn then hopped on a taxi to the pier. Did not find the driver very friendly having I had to drag the case into the boot myself and he never spoke. On ...
