Dam fine time!!! By: sheepers21
The stateroom was exactly what we required and wanted. It had plenty of storage and closet space with a comfortable bed and fine linens. Complimentary robes with slippers were a nice touch. A wall mounted TV along with various other amenities added to the room enjoyment. The bathroom, although small in size, had everything needed including a functional sized tub and adequate water pressure. The balcony was a good size which enabled us to sit with a coffee and watch in privacy for the sailaway and arrival and departure from the various ports of call. Frank and Ikhsan, the stateroom attendants receive an A++ grade for their speedy work and attention to detail. (Special kudos for their towel animal expertise)

Beautiful Caribbean Journey By: Zumba dancing queen
Our cabin was fantastic! The location was on the Panorama deck (10) and our balcony looked out over the aqua sea. We had been in a spa stateroom on the Eurodam. This is by far our favorite. The service by our steward Gdday was impeccable.

The cabin was a "Deluxe Spa Verandah," which we got by selecting the basic verandah "guarantee" price. The Deluxe part meant that we were on deck 11, much higher than the basic Verandahs. The Spa part meant very little: a yoga mat in our cabin, a few free flavored waters, and proximity to (but not free use of) the spa facilities. The location was great: one level above the frequently used Lido deck, one floor below two excellent observation areas and bars. The view was excellent when in port. The verandah on the 10th level is in fact smaller than those on lower decks -- perhaps 3 or 4 feet deep rather than the 5 feet on a basic verandah cabin. it was impossible to get this information from HAL, who keeps floor plans close to the chest and provided incorrect info on the phone. Other web sites hint at this minor deficiency. The size of the cabin was slightly smaller than our Celebrity Solstice room, but was perfectly adequate. Storage was sufficient in the three closets, and luggage easily slid under the bed. Everything was laid out well and functioned fine. As other have pointed out, room lights and outlets are turned off when you take your card out of a slot to leave the room. This wasn't a problem. When we returned to the room and put in our card, all lights turned on. If we had needed an outlet "live" for charging something, any piece of light cardboard would go in the slot. Our cabin attendant was perfect. He introduced himself immediately on the first day, asked our names and had them perfectly memorized for the rest of the trip -- even when he saw us in other parts of the ship. He was friendly without being intrusive, listened to and observed our habits, and generally made the cabin experience as good as I can imagine.

Lovely Ship By: Aggsy
Great cabin. About twice the size of normal cabins. Not sure why it was called a spa cabin although you did have free water.

Nice Spa Balcony cabin on private low traffic deck 11. The waterfall was soothing but had a chlorine odor. Pretty standard cabin - nice colors. NO BALCONY worth using this was a rip off as it was basically a French Balcony. So with the exception of balcony a nice cabin

Amazing views being so high up. Removed from the bulk of other passengers also meant it was really quiet and there was no traffic outside our room, ever.

VQ "Spa" additions are worthless, narrower but sufficent balcony, over a potentially noisy section of Spa used for skipping/ball dribbling, else identical to all other verandah balcony staterooms with bath

Loved Holland America By: winnipeg melody
The balcony was a bit narrower that some others on the ship and it only had two regular last chairs and a very small table. I think most other balconies had two deck chairs. There was plenty of closet space for two people and we were able to fit our two large suitecases under the bed. The location was very quiet, with easy access to the stairs, elevators or walking outside to get to the Lido buffet one deck down.

Verandas on VQ (Spa) category on Deck 11 are tiny and not very usable.
