(5:25 p.m. EDT) -- Can't decide between a cruise or land vacation? Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line now offers the chance to combine its popular two-night Bahamas cruises with a few nights at an all-inclusive resort or hotel on the island.
The new Cruise & Stay packages will take passengers roundtrip from Florida's Port of Palm Beach to Grand Bahama Island, where they can spend an additional two or four nights at one of the cruise line's partner resorts, before returning. Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line is known for its affordable, two-night cruises with nightly departures from Palm Beach.
Travelers who opt for the Cruise & Stay package can choose from a handful of all-inclusive resorts or hotels on Grand Bahama Island, with varying prices. Among those that include food and beverages are the Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach and Lighthouse Pointe at Grand Lucayan; hotel-only options include the Pelican Bay Hotel and Marlin at Taino Bay.
"We are the only cruise line in the industry that can offer this unique Cruise & Stay vacation experience and believe it gives consumers as well as our travel partners another reason to choose Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line," said Oneil Khosa, CEO of Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line. "With our daily departures from the Port of Palm Beach, our Cruise & Stay packages are easily tailored to fit into traveler's busy schedules and ultimately provide a perfect getaway option."
Cruise & Stay packages start at $469 per person, for a four-night package that adds a two-night hotel stay to the standard two-night cruise. Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line will assist passengers with booking shore excursions for their extended stay.
