(5:20 p.m. EDT) -- Luxury cruise line Seabourn has revealed its 2020 world cruise itinerary aboard Seabourn Sojourn. The cruise will visit 62 ports in 36 countries during 146 days at sea.

Sojourn will depart Miami on January 4, 2020, head south through the Caribbean, then venture east across the Atlantic to Africa. The ship will sail around both coasts of Africa before exploring India, Southeast Asia and Indonesia. It finishes out the cruise with visits to Australia, the South Pacific and Hawaii before wrapping up its five-month journey in San Francisco on May 28, 2020.

Itinerary highlights include 16 overnights in ports such as Dakar, Senegal; Mombasa, Kenya; Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam; and Cairns, Australia. It also will feature evening calls in 18 additional ports. Passengers will have the option to disembark the ship for mid-cruise overland excursions like safaris and visits to the Taj Mahal.

Over the entire course of the world cruise, passengers will experience more port days than sea days. The world cruise can be booked in shorter segments of 30 to 116 days.

Cruise travelers who book the 2020 world cruise early will receive numerous perks, including roundtrip domestic first-class airfare; onboard credit, starting at $2,000 per person; free, unlimited Wi-Fi; private car transfers and luggage shipping; laundry and dry cleaning on the ship; visa service; gala dinner and hotel stay before the cruise in Miami; and special mid-voyage events and gifts.

Fares start at $66,999 for an oceanview suite (no balcony) for the full 146-day world cruise.
