(1:30 p.m. EST) -- Cue the wanderlust. For the first time ever, Disney Cruise Line will call at Gothenburg and Stockholm, Sweden; Toulon (Provence) and Brest (Brittany), France; Cartagena, Spain; Fredericia, Denmark; and Belfast, Northern Ireland.

The seven new ports will be offered on select Disney Magic sailings in 2019; Belfast only will be available on the ship's September 8 departure to the British Isles, from Dover, England. Disney Magic's summer 2019 season in Europe includes Baltic, Norwegian Fjords, Iceland, British Isles and Mediterranean itineraries.

In addition to the new ports, Disney Magic will sail its first roundtrip cruise from Rome. The ship historically has offered cruises only to or from Rome. The June 14 departure will span eight nights and include stops in Salerno (Positano, Amalfi, Pompeii) and La Spezia (Florence, Pisa), Italy; Villefranche (Monte Carlo, Cannes, Nice) and Marseilles, France; and Barcelona, Spain.

Cruisers can extend their trip with a pre- or post-cruise tour, available in select cities through the company's land operator, Adventures by Disney. Learn more about Adventures by Disney land tours in our Disney Magic cruise report.
