54 Below at Sea, the new show will debut on Azamara's ships in 2018.

(1:40 p.m. EST) -- Cabaret-style performances and musicians from legendary Broadway supper club Feinstein's/54 Below are coming to Azamara Club Cruises' ships. Called 54 Below at Sea, the new show will debut on Azamara Quest and Azamara Journey in February 2018, as well as the line's new ship, Azamara Pursuit, in August 2018.

The show will 'transform' the ships' main theater, the Cabaret Lounge, into Feinstein's/54 Below's Manhattan-based entertainment space -- with Broadway cabaret stars, comedians and instrumentalists, as well as its signature cocktails, service style and ambiance.

"We look forward to providing guests with vibrant onboard entertainment to enhance their experience while sailing with us. Our new entertainment launch will bring to life classic and short plays, along with short operas and shows, by using music, Broadway stars and entertainers that engage and enthrall their audiences," said Larry Pimentel, President and CEO of Azamara.

In collaboration with Azamara, Ryan Stana, CEO of RWS Entertainment Group also noted, "The cruise line industry has seen a surge of enthusiasm and momentum behind innovations from itineraries to onboard technologies. Through the partnership with Azamara Club Cruises and Feinstein's/54 Below, we are excited to bring a new view to entertainment programming as well. This is the first overarching branded guest entertainer experience at sea and it will be unique and different in our industry."

In addition to the partnership with Feinstein's/54 Below, Azamara will unveil new short opera vignettes and theater shows from Magic City Opera and Miami-based City Theatre. The ships' usual entertainment programming -- including AzaMazing Evenings, White Night and the popular ABBA Night held in the Living Room, will continue to be offered.
