(4:07 p.m. EST) -- Seabourn Sojourn now joins its three sister ships in offering Seabourn passengers The Grill by Thomas Keller restaurant and a mindful living program by Dr. Andrew Weil.
During a December 2017 dry dock, Seabourn Sojourn replaced its former specialty dining venue, Restaurant 2, with The Grill by Thomas Keller. The Grill serves updated versions of iconic American dishes from the 1950s and '60s (think Caesar salad prepared tableside and Lobster Thermidor), masterminded by the Michelin-starred Chef Keller.
The ship also now offers a new Spa & Wellness with Dr. Andrew Weil program at the ship's Steiner-run spa. An onboard mindful living coach leads passengers in daily yoga and meditation sessions, as well as seminars on mindful and healthy living.
Seabourn Encore, Seabourn Odyssey and Seabourn Quest already offer the Thomas Keller Grill and Andrew Weil mindful living program. Seabourn Ovation, which debuts in spring 2018, will launch with these features already in place.
In addition to the new restaurant and wellness program, Sojourn's makeover included new carpeting and design elements to public areas throughout the ship. Suites have been refreshed, with the top suites (Owner's, Signature and Wintergarden) receiving new furnishings and soft goods.
Seabourn Sojourn begins 2018 with Extended Explorations, longer voyages featuring more overnights in port, followed by its second season in Alaska.
