(2:50 p.m. EDT) -- Barbeque and beer go hand in hand, which is why Carnival Cruise Line's next new ship is introducing a dining venue that combines the two.

Guy's Pig & Anchor Bar-B-Que Smokehouse Brewhouse will debut on Carnival Horizon when the ship launches in April 2018. Helmed by longtime Carnival partner, celebrity chef Guy Fieri, the casual eatery will serve dishes from the line's popular Guy's Pig & Anchor found on five other ships, as well as craft beer brewed onboard.

The food, which includes a variety of smoked meats and savory sides, will be free of charge at lunch and a la carte at dinner; beer will cost extra. In terms of the beer menu, Carnival will develop four unique brews designed to pair with Fieri's menu. Carnival Vista is the only other ship in the fleet that brews beer onboard.

Lunch will consist of a self-serve buffet on embarkation day and sea days from noon to 2 p.m. Unlike other Fieri venues across the fleet, which are only open during the day, Guy's Pig & Anchor Bar-B-Q Smokehouse Brewhouse will reopen its doors at 5 p.m. every night. Passengers can order from an a la carte menu (with more extensive options, including dessert) and listen to live music, offered nightly. Pricing details have yet to be revealed.

Barbeque lovers will be able to find the new venue on the ship's Promenade Deck. It will feature indoor and outdoor seating for 138 diners, as well as rustic decor -- with red-brick walls and hardwood floors.

Guy's Pig & Anchor Bar-B-Que Smokehouse Brewhouse is one of a handful of "new to the line" features debuting on Carnival Horizon -- including its recently announced Teppanyaki restaurant. The ship also will boast Carnival staples such as Guy's Burger Joint, the BlueIguana Cantina and Tequila Bar, as well as the SkyRide and IMAX movie theater unveiled on Carnival Vista.

After Carnival Horizon's launch in Europe, the ship will reposition to New York for a summer of four-night Bermuda and eight-night Caribbean cruises; it will then head down to Miami for year-round Caribbean cruises beginning September 2018.
