Scenic Eclipse rendering

(10:30 a.m. EDT) -- Scenic has revealed the 10 dining experiences that will be offered onboard Scenic Eclipse, a 228-passenger, all-suite discovery yacht slated to launch August 2018.

The venues range from casual to fine dining, and all will be included in the cruise fare. Scenic Eclipse will also have eight bars and lounges. Most restaurants will be small -- as few as eight people at the Chef's Table or 10 cruisers at the Teppanyaki grill.

Dining details are as follows:

Elements: The ship's main restaurant featuring Italian dishes, as well as steak and seafood

Koko's: An Asian fusion restaurant with a sake bar

Sushi @ Koko's: A sushi bar within Koko's

Teppanyaki @ Koko's: A private dining room option for up to 10 people with an open grill

Lumiere: A French fine dining venue with contemporary fare and a Champagne bar

Azure Bar & Cafe: One of the ship's most relaxed eateries, open for all-day grazing

Epicure: This chef-led cooking emporium is for foodies who like to learn about their meals

Yacht Club: Another casual venue, this one is a poolside grill, buffet and bar

Chef's Table: The smallest dining venue onboard

In-Suite Dining: A 24-hour menu with items good for any time of day

The all-suite Scenic Eclipse, whose design falls somewhere between that of a traditional yacht and an expedition vessel, also will feature a seven-seat helicopter and seven-seat submarine, capable of diving to depths of 200 meters. Additionally, it will have two pools (one outdoor and one heated indoor) and a 5,900-square foot spa with a plunge pool, hair salon and multiple treatment rooms.

The ship will have an ice rating of 1A (Polar Class 6), meaning it can easily navigate Arctic and Antarctic waters. It will sail its maiden voyage from Istanbul to Venice August 31, 2018. Itineraries will include Canada and New England, the Arctic, British Isles, Caribbean (including Cuba), Chilean fjords and Antarctica.
