(10:25 a.m. EDT) -- Construction has begun on Carnival Cruise Line's third Vista-class cruise ship, set to launch fall 2019.

The milestone was marked with a steel cutting ceremony at the Fincantieri shipyard in Marghera, Italy. The yet-unnamed ship will be 133,500 gross tons and carry 3,936 passengers at double occupancy.

Like sister ships Carnival Vista, which debuted 2016, and Carnival Horizon, which arrives March 2018, the third ship will boast the exclusive Havana-themed area, with special cabins and a dedicated bar and pool for those passengers during the day.
