David Hasselhoff and Costa Favolosa

(5:30 p.m. GMT) -- The first-ever David Hasselhoff fan cruise will take place on Costa Cruises' Costa Favolosa -- departing on a five-night voyage from Savona in Italy on November 4, 2017.

The cruise is expected to bring together some of Europe's biggest Hoff fans as the ship sails around the Mediterranean, with calls in Rome, Barcelona and Marseille, before arriving back in Savona on November 9.

Hasselhoff will be onboard for the entire sailing, entertaining fans with stage performances, a movie night and a meet and greet session.

"When I was asked by the tour operator GEO Reisen to participate in this exclusive cruise, I immediately said 'yes!'

"I can look back on an exceptional career in show business and there is much more to come! It is high time to give back the gratitude and fun that my fans bring me every day. I cordially invite all fans to this unique cruise in the Mediterranean Sea," Hasselhoff said.

The former star of "Knight Rider" and "Baywatch" has even created a video revealing what passengers can expect from his Official World Fan Cruise.

"It's a captive audience. It's also a sexy audience," Hasselhoff says in the video. "Not only will we be at sea, which is really sexy, but we'll be rocking and rolling!"

Costa Cruises has chartered its 2,968-passenger ship to the Austrian travel agent GEO Reisen who is organising the themed cruise.

The Concordia-class ship features a 4D cinema, four swimming pools, five restaurants and 13 bars, among other features, providing Hasselhoff and his fans with plenty to do while onboard.
