(1:45 p.m. EST) -- Cheeseburgers aren't the only food in paradise.
Holland America has unveiled a new restaurant on its private island, Half Moon Cay, whose menu showcases one dish: lobster.
The Lobster Shack, which is offered in addition to the island's usual complimentary barbeque, serves up grilled spiny lobster with rice and Caribbean coconut beans and one of two salsas (pineapple or sofrito). While in port, Holland America cooks come ashore to operate the venue from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., following a recipe developed in part with the line's partner Master Chef Rudi Sodamin. Lunch is $20 per person.
Cruise Critic got a taste of the Lobster Shack at its unveiling, which took place November 11 during Koningsdam's U.S. inaugural sailing and was attended by Sodamin and Holland America executives. The venue itself is casual with a Tiki hut-style vibe and "no shoes, no shirt" dress code. It's located on the beach, next to the "I Wish I Could Stay Here Forever" bar.
Cruisers visiting Half Moon Cay with Holland America's sister line Carnival also have access to the Lobster Shack, but Carnival will offer a different menu.
