(3:50 p.m. EST) -- A crewmember onboard Royal Caribbean's Enchantment of the Seas has been indicted on charges of sexually abusing a minor, according to a media report.

According to U.S. District court documents first obtained by the Baltimore Sun, 25-year-old Fabian Palmer had sex with a 14-year-old female passenger on December 23 during a Bahamas cruise that left Baltimore on December 17. Enchantment of the Seas is stationed year-round in Charm City.

In the court documents, the victim describes to authorities that, upon finding her alone on the deck, Palmer led her into a men's locker room and proceeded to have sex with her. The victim told authorities that he stopped after another crewmember knocked on the door. Palmer admitted to having sex with the girl when interviewed by Royal Caribbean employees, but said he believed she was 16.

In a statement, Royal Caribbean told Cruise Critic that upon learning of the alleged incident, it immediately reached out to the FBI and local law enforcement in Baltimore.

"Royal Caribbean maintains strict policies governing employee interaction with guests. Due to the violation of this policy, the crewmember in question is no longer employed by Royal Caribbean," said the line.

On January 3, two Allure of the Seas passengers were arrested for lewd and lascivious battery after allegedly raping a 15-year-old female passenger. The defendants are 20-year-old Luiz Scavone and an unnamed 15-year-old male.
