Are you in the U.K.? Free next weekend? Eager to bag a cruise deal?
On October 16-17, the Daily Telegraph's Cruise Show takes place at Birmingham's NEC, giving the cruise-bound -- from first-timers to seasoned travelers -- access to exclusive offers and the chance to chat to the lines about all those nagging questions (you know the type: How does tipping work? What if I get seasick?).
As we've already reported, an array of lines will be present at the event, from mainstream operators such as P&O Cruises and Royal Caribbean to smaller river and niche cruise lines.
Among the highlights:
Many lines will have "book now" offers so visitors can get the best deal.
Experts on destinations and certain cruise types will hold forums, and panel discussions will be offered on topics such as family cruising and luxury cruises.
An Elemis SpaBus will be on hand for you to rest your weary feet after walking the show floor.
Tickets are £6 in advance and £10 on the door; under-16s are free. The show runs 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Sunday. For more information, check out the show's Web site.
