(July 29, 3:45 p.m. EDT) -- Can you book a cruise holiday today, tomorrow or Friday? Norwegian Cruise Line is offering an "Early Bird Extra" to Brits who book cruises during the first three days of its latest sale. In addition to hundreds of pounds in savings on select itineraries -- cruises to the Bahamas, Caribbean, Hawaii, Mediterranean, Mexican Riviera, Panama Canal and South America, departing between 25 September 2009 and 9 April 2010 -- travellers can receive up to $150 to spend onboard.
Book through 31 July, and you'll get free onboard credit (in U.S. dollars, as that is on the onboard currency on NCL ships), based on cabin category:
$50 per inside cabin
$60 per outside cabin
$75 per balcony cabin
$100 per mini-suite
$150 per suite
NCL's sale begins today, 29 July, and runs through 31 August -- so even if you miss that early-bird booking window, you can still save. Cruise-only and fly-cruise prices start at just £249 (based on a five-night, cruise-only fare to the Western Caribbean).
