Seabourn Names New President

November 6, 2006
In the wake of the death of Deborah Natansohn, who passed away unexpectedly on October 22 after suffering a heart attack, the cruise line has announced that Pamela C. Conover will become its new president and chief executive officer.

Conover has been acting president of Seabourn since Natansohn's death.

This is actually not her first time at the Seabourn helm. Conover was president and chief operating officer of Cunard Line Limited when the fleets of Seabourn and Cunard were both under one umbrella. Conover oversaw the building and launch of Queen Mary 2 and the restructuring and re-branding of Seabourn's three ship fleet, before moving over to parent company Carnival Corporation as senior vice president of shared services.
