(1:16 p.m. BST) -- Cruise & Maritime Voyages has extended the suspension of cruise operations until August 25.
The seven-ship line, which operates in the U.K., Australia and Germany, cited the continued uncertainty around the global pandemic and numerous ports closed around the world for the decision.
All affected adult fare paying passengers are being offered a future cruise credit of 125 percent valid until 31st March 2021 and redeemable against the best deal of the day including Buy One Get One Free Offer applicable on all 2021 sailings or 2022 when the programme is released later this year.
For families booked on one of the affected summer holiday three multi-generation sailings a 50 percent discount will be applied to the 2021 or 2022 teenage and children fares (under 16 years) for booking transfers and to help facilitate affected passengers wishing to transfer their bookings, the 2021 Buy One Get One Free early booking offer has been extended to 31st July 2020.
In addition, the line has introduced a new Reassurance & Transfer Policy. For departures up until 31st July 2020, this supersedes its current booking terms and is valid until further notice.
