(3:08 p.m. EST) Carnival Fascination will offer new seven-day Southern Caribbean itineraries from San Juan in 2021.
First announced on John Heald's Facebook page, Carnival Fascination's new 2021 Southern Caribbean itineraries will include port calls in Antigua, Dominica, Grenada and Tortola, alongside mainstay ports including St. Thomas, Barbados and St. Maarten.
A total of 13 departures aboard Carnival Fascination will be offered from May through December 2021. Carnival notes that, with the exception of its longer Carnival Journeys sailings, these voyages aboard Carnival Fascination are the only ones in the company's fleet to visit many of these Southern Caribbean ports of call.
These new voyages will complement Carnival Fascination's existing seven-day itinerary that includes St. Thomas, St. Maarten, St. Kitts, St. Lucia and Barbados.
Built in 1994, Carnival Fascination underwent a multimillion-dollar dry dock in 2017 that added many of Carnival's popular FunShip 2.0 innovations, including Guy's Burger Joint, the Alchemy Bar, the BlueIguana Cantina, Bonsai Sushi Express, as well as the new WaterWorks aqua park, the relaxing Serenity Adult Only Retreat and other features.
Carnival Fascination, accommodating 2,056 passengers, has been operating cruises out of San Juan, Puerto Rico since 2018.
