(2:45 p.m. EST) -- Royal Caribbean will feature a variety of new ports of call in Europe across seven different ships sailing the continent on a host of new European itineraries in 2021.
Passengers will have more ships to choose from in the region than ever before, including Anthem of the Seas, which will return for a second year of being based in Southampton. Additional Royal Caribbean ships in Europe for 2021 include Adventure of the Seas; Harmony of the Seas; Jewel of the Seas; Odyssey of the Seas; Rhapsody of the Seas; and Vision of the Seas.
The line says that 70 percent of its 2021 European lineup are new itineraries with unique ports of call.
Anthem of the Seas will offer new voyages from Southampton, including a variety of seven- to 14-night cruises to Norway that include stops in Stavanger -- a new port for Anthem. Other new ports for the Quantum-class ship include Copenhagen and Aarhus in Denmark, and Bordeaux, France. Select sailings will also offer late-night visits to Paris and overnights in Rotterdam and Lisbon.
Harmony of the Seas will return to Europe for the first time since 2016, offering weeklong Mediterranean voyages from Barcelona and Rome (Civitavecchia).

The smaller, well-loved Vision of the Seas will operate 12-night itineraries that visit the Greek Isles, Kotor, Montenegro; Nice, France; Rome and Florence/Pisa; an overnight in Venice, and late-night calls in Split, Croatia.
Vision's fleetmate and sister ship Rhapsody of the Seas will return to Venice to offer seven-night voyages between Greece, Croatia and the Greek Isles with select late-night calls in Kotor and Santorini.
Odyssey of the Seas, set to debut in November 2020, will operate numerous itineraries in the Eastern Mediterranean, and will become the first ship in the Quantum Ultra Class to visit the shores of both Turkey and Greece.
The midsize Jewel of the Seas does double duty, offering up a variety of Mediterranean sailings in summer 2021 and a season in the Baltics and British Isles. That season will mark the first time a Jewel-class ship has called on Liverpool and Bordeaux.
Finally, Adventure of the Seas heads to the Baltics, departing from Stockholm and Copenhagen on seven- to 11-night sailings that feature overnights in St. Petersburg and visits to Helsinki; Tallinn, Estonia and Visby, Sweden.
Most of Royal Caribbean's 2021 European itineraries are available for booking now. Sailings operated on Odyssey of the Seas and Adventure of the Seas will be open for reservations during the week of December 9, 2019.
