Uniworld Introduces Floating Onboard Deposits and Referral Incentives for River Cruise Bookings

(11:50 a.m. EDT) -- Uniworld River Cruises is introducing two new booking incentives for past passengers including a new onboard booking deposit option that gives passengers more flexibility and a new referral program for current Uniworld loyalty members.

The new Floating Deposit option is available to cruisers who put down a $500 deposit for their next cruise while onboard a Uniworld river cruise. This not only provides them with the 3 percent discount off their next cruise that the line already offers for onboard bookings, but gives passengers the flexibility to choose their next sailing date at a later time. The Floating Deposit is combinable with regular River Heritage Club member benefits and other current deals at the time of booking.

Additionally, members of the line's loyalty program, the River Heritage Club, can now receive a referral benefit for introducing new people to Uniworld. Each referral will earn River Heritage Club members a $100 credit per person towards their next cruise, and the friend or family member referred will also receive a $100 credit per person on their first Uniworld cruise.

The referral program goes live in November and is only valid on new bookings; there is no limit on how many referral credits a River Heritage Club member can receive and credits do not replace existing member benefits.
