(9:30 a.m. EDT) -- Families of all ages will be treated to a Jim Henson "puppet" show onboard Princess Cruises’ newest ships, Sky Princess, which debuted last week in Europe, and Enchanted Princess, which debuts in June 2020.

Created by the Jim Henson Company and brought to life by director John Tartaglia (a Tony nominee who directed and acted in the off-Broadway and Broadway hit "Avenue Q”), the 30-minute "Jim Henson's Inspired Silliness" recreates and reimagines several of Henson's innovative works from early in his career.

"Audiences experience something special and mesmerizing while being entertained by puppetry, and Inspired Silliness will give our guests an incredibly unique and new entertainment offering," said Denise Saviss, Princess Cruises' vice president of entertainment experience. "You can't help but smile, laugh out loud and sign along to this original Henson production and feel connected to the performers and the audience during this show."

The Princess production of the show uses singers and dancers, "mind-blowing" visuals, music and the world-famous Henson style of puppetry, including a new cast of puppets from the Jim Henson Creature Shop.
