(12:28 p.m. EDT) -- Silversea has unveiled itineraries for new cruise ship Silver Dawn, scheduled to debut in September 2021.
Inspired by the design of Silver Muse and forthcoming Silver Moon, 596-passenger Silver Dawn will set out on its maiden voyage from Civitavecchia (Rome) on September 22, 2021, and spend an inaugural season in the Mediterranean before repositioning to Fort Lauderdale.
The ship's debut itineraries include a nine-night sailing from Civitavecchia to Venice on September 22, 2021; a 12-night journey from Venice to Piraeus (Athens) on October 1, 2021; a 10-night voyage from Piraeus to Barcelona on October 13, 2021; a 10-night cruise from Barcelona to Lisbon on October 23, 2021; and a 13-night inaugural transatlantic crossing from Lisbon to Fort Lauderdale on November 2, 2021, with an overnight stop in San Juan.
Currently under construction at Fincantieri's Ancona shipyard in Italy, Silver Dawn will incorporate enhancements and features from Silver Muse and the under-construction Silver Moon, including Silversea's new culturally immersive S.A.L.T (Sea And Land Taste) culinary program.
"Inspired by the incredibly successful design of Silversea's Silver Muse, our new Silver Dawn will bring innovation to ultra-luxury travel when [it] launches in September 2021," said Barbara Muckermann, Silversea's chief marketing officer.
Prior to the launch of Silver Dawn, Silversea will welcome Silver Moon to the fleet, along with Silver Origin, the line's first purpose-built vessel destined for the Galapagos Islands.
