(4:18 p.m. EDT) -- Disney Cruise Line has adjusted its promotional offer for passengers who book a future Disney cruise while on a Disney sailing. Onboard credit is no longer offered as a perk, but there are still discounts available for booking future travel while on a cruise.

According to a statement from Disney Cruise Line, any passenger booking a future vacation in stateroom categories 4A through 11C while still onboard will receive a 10 percent discount. If the future cruise is seven nights or longer, passengers can also put down only 50 percent of the required deposit.

"Disney Cruise Line regularly evaluates and adjusts its promotional offers based on a variety of factors," the statement said.
