(4 p.m. BST) -- Cunard today announced its 2021 cruise schedule which will see its three ships -- Queen Mary 2, Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth -- sail to 123 destinations across 39 countries.
The global programme, including 17 Mediterranean destinations, features extended port stays, with 174 itineraries offering late evening departures to enable passengers to make the most of time spent in ports of call.
In addition to the evening departures, the 2021 season will include overnight stays in cities including Boston, Funchal, Lisbon, Quebec, Reykjavik, Rotterdam, Shanghai, Singapore and St Petersburg.
Queen Victoria's European itinerary will include 20 Southampton round-trip sailings, with a maiden visit to Aarhus in Denmark, a first for Cunard in its 180 year history.
Simon Palethorpe, President, Cunard Line said: "Filled with inspiring destinations, we're making it our priority to ensure our guests have as long as possible to explore the world's most exquisite locations in their own time and at their own pace."
He said that in response to demand Asia remained a key cruising region for 2021, with Queen Elizabeth based in the Asia-Pacific region throughout the year. Itineraries include circumnavigations of Japan, a variety of Australian and New Zealand voyages and a maiden call in Seogwipo City, South Korea. And Queen Mary 2 will continue to make the crossing from Southampton to New York and back -- a total of 23 in 2021.
Palethorpe added: "In addition to 31 wonderful round trip voyages from our home port of Southampton, we are excited that 2021 sees Cunard offer itineraries that span the globe."
