(11 a.m. EDT) -- When Norwegian Encore launches in November 2019, it will feature an all-new restaurant concept for Norwegian Cruise Line: Onda by Scarpetta, an upscale Italian venue found in some of the world's best-known hotels such as the Fontainebleau in Miami Beach and the Rittenhouse Hotel in Philadelphia. Encore will also feature eight additional restaurants and nine bars, all familiar to Norwegian cruisers.

The new restaurant is being created in partnership with LDV Hospitality, whose Scarpetta portfolio of restaurants can be found in New York City, the Hamptons, Miami, Las Vegas, Philadelphia, Newport and London.

"We are passionate about delivering innovative and exceptional experiences to our guests, and this exciting collaboration with LDV Hospitality showcases that commitment beautifully," said Andy Stuart, president and CEO of Norwegian Cruise Line. "Onda by Scarpetta will be the perfect complement to the variety of spectacular offerings available on our soon-to-launch Norwegian Encore."

Onda by Scarpetta will be located along The Waterfront (a wraparound, outdoor promenade with space for outdoor dining and lounging), and diners can choose to eat inside or outdoors. The menu will showcase a selection of modern Italian dishes, as well as homemade pastas, including such items as yellowtail crudo, branzino, and the Scarpetta signature dish, spaghetti tomato and basil.

Full Complement of Dining and Bars

Norwegian Cruise Line also revealed the full lineup of dining options on Encore including Cagney's Steakhouse, Food Republic, Le Bistro, Los Lobos, Q (Texas barbecue-style fare), Ocean Blue, Teppanyaki and the American Diner. The ship will also have a Coco's sweet shop, Dolce Gelato on The Waterfront, a full Starbucks and a Bake Shop.

As for its beverage options, the ship will have a large selection of bars and lounges, many featuring cocktails on tap created by celebrity mixologist Kathy Casey. Venues will include The Cellars -- A Michael Mondavi Family Wine Bar, The District Brew House, The Cavern Club, The A-List Bar, Maltings Whiskey Bar, Mixx Bar, Sugarcane Mojito Bar and the Skyline Bar.

Norwegian Encore will also have an expanded two-story Vibe Beach Club, the adults-only lounge with private sun deck.

Like its Breakaway and Breakaway-Plus fleetmates, Norwegian Encore will feature The Waterfront lined with restaurants, bars and myriad seating. In addition to Onda by Scarpetta, venues with space along The Waterfront will be Cagney's, Los Lobos, The Cavern Club, Dolce Gelato, Sugarcane Mojito Bar and Ocean Blue.

Norwegian Encore launches this fall in Miami and features an expanded go-karts at sea race track, with a section of the track extending out over the side of the ship; the Galaxy Pavilion, a 10,000-square-foot virtual reality arcade, an open-air laser tag arena, and Broadway entertainment in the theater with a 90-minute version of "Kinky Boots."

The ship will offer one-week voyages to the Eastern Caribbean beginning November 24. The ship will then sail four- , five- and seven-night itineraries to Bermuda and five- and nine-night itineraries to Canada and New England from New York City beginning April 22, 2020. It returns to Miami in December 2020, sailing five- , six- and seven-night cruises to the Western Caribbean. In 2021, the ship will relocate to the West coast, where it will sail to Alaska from Seattle.
