(2:40 p.m. EDT) -- New renderings of the premium suites on Seabourn's forthcoming luxury expedition ships provide a glimpse of the layouts, contemporary decor and custom furniture collection developed by world-renowned interior designer, Adam D. Tihany.

The Wintergarden, Signature and Owner's Suites are among the 132 all-balcony suites that will be found on Seabourn Venture and its soon-to-be-named sister ship, scheduled to launch in June 2021 and May 2022, respectively. Seabourn's premium suite renderings come roughly one month after the line revealed a first look at the ships' public spaces.

Standout design elements of the two ships' premium suites include parchment texture-inspired wall panels, materials such as wood and stone, and intricately textured fabrics. Spacious bathrooms will boast separate showers and bathtubs, both with bronze hardware. Each premium suite also will feature a built-in, heated jacket wardrobe that will keep cold-weather gear warm as well as expedite the drying process of wet gear.

"Each of these stylish suites offers a warm, welcoming environment and features thoughtful design touches that create subtle memories of the experience on their own," said Seabourn's president, Richard Meadows. "After a full day of activity, perhaps off the ship with our expedition team taking in nature’s splendor, guest suites will be the perfect place to rest or relax before the evening's insightful recap or the next big adventure."

Below is a breakdown of each premium suite:

  • Grand Wintergarden Suite: An evolution of the popular Wintergarden Suite found on other Seabourn ships, the Grand Windergarden Suite will span two decks and measure 1,397 square feet in total, including its two balconies. Seabourn Venture will have two of these suites, midship, with each offering two bedrooms, a large lower-level living area, a pantry with a stocked wet bar, a Swarovski ATX spotting scope and a high-tech entertainment system with Bang & Olufsen speakers and headphones. The master bedroom will feature a window-facing Duxiana Axion 15 sleep system, a bathroom with whirlpool tub and separate shower, a roll-up LG OLED TV and more.
  • Wintergarden Suite: The Wintergarden Suite will have all the same features as the Grand category, with the exception of a second bedroom and full bathroom on the lower level. It will have a total of 1,042 total square feet, including the balcony.
  • Signature Suite: Each of the two Signature Suites located on Deck 8 will feature a foyer entry leading into a living area with a high-definition TV; a dining table for four; one bedroom with a makeup vanity, ample closet space and a glass door leading to a large balcony with a canopied whirlpool tub and various seating arrangements; a guest bathroom; and a pantry with a wet bar -- all within a total of 1,382 square feet.
  • Owner's Suite: Nestled at the front of the ship, on Deck 7, two Owner's Suites provide passengers with a living area that features a high-definition TV, a writing desk, a dining table for two, one bedroom with its own high-definition TV, a large window, a makeup vanity and a bathroom with multiple doors that can create a half-bath. The balcony offers additional space, with lounge chairs and a table for four. Each Owner's Suite measures 1,027 square feet, including the balcony.

Seabourn has yet to reveal details of the remaining suites; however, it said all suites would come with the following amenities: a personal suite stewardess, a walk-in closet, interactive entertainment programming and use of Swarovski binoculars.

Premium suites will include all of the above, plus a complimentary private-car airport transfer (up to 50 miles), complimentary internet for the duration of the cruise, an enhanced in-suite bar setup with additional wines or spirits for entertaining, a welcome bouquet of fresh flowers, a fresh fruit display and a daily newspaper of choice.

Seabourn Venture will be the line's first-ever expedition cruise ship. The name stems from the Ventures by Seabourn program, through which more adventurous Zodiac, kayak, catamaran and hiking tours are offered by an expedition team on select cruises and itineraries.

The ship is slated to begin sailing the Arctic in late summer 2021, followed by a full season in Antarctica. Further itinerary and booking details, as well as information on where Seabourn Venture's sister ship will sail, are expected to be released in mid-2019.
