(3:05 p.m. EDT) -- The soon-to-debut Carnival Panorama will feature a "Choose Fun" water park that will include two slides, the 455-foot-long Red Fun and the 300-foot-long Blue Fun; a 300-gallon PowerDrencher tipping bucket; a kiddie spray park and other opportunities to get soaked at sea.
The aqua park, which takes its name from the cruise line's slogan, will be similar to other WaterWorks setups on ships including Carnival Breeze, Carnival Vista and Carnival Horizon.
The aquatic activities will be free to all passengers who meet the minimum height requirement, expected to be between 42 to 48 inches.
In a short YouTube video, a scuba goggles-wearing Shaquille O'Neal, Carnival's "Chief Fun Officer," promised the new water park would be "very, very, very, very, very, very fun." He knows this, he says, because he helped design it with two slides: "Red Fun and Blue Fun."
"I made sure the twists are twistier," O'Neal says in the tongue-in-cheek video. "I made sure that the water is waterier."

Other play options onboard Panorama will include Carnival's first Sky Zone Trampoline Park, which will feature a 12-lane trampoline court; a SportsSquare recreation area and ropes course; and SkyRide.
Carnival Panorama will embark on its inaugural voyage from Long Beach cruise terminal, just outside Los Angeles, in December. The 3,934-passenger ship will offer a season of .
Panorama will be the first new Carnival ship on the West Coast in 20 years.
