(1:58 p.m. EST) -- The first full year of sailings on new luxury expedition ship Crystal Endeavor are now open for booking to the public. Crystal today revealed the new 2021 itineraries, which are being offered in addition to the ship's inaugural mini-season beginning in summer 2020.
Among the destinations Crystal Endeavor will visit in 2021 are Antarctica; Japan; the Russian Far East, Aleutian Islands and Alaska; Australia, New Zealand and Tasmania; Indonesia and the Indian Ocean; Norway and the UK; Western Europe; the Canary Islands and Atlantic; South America; and the Northeast Passage (a rare itinerary). The ship will boast a PC6 Polar Class design that will allow it to navigate the icy waters of Antarctica and the Arctic.
"The enthusiasm from travelers surrounding Crystal Endeavor has definitely carried over from her inaugural season," said Crystal's senior vice president of marketing and sales, Carmen Roig. "The new 2021 voyages are innovative expeditions designed to showcase some of the most legendary destinations, as well as those that reach beyond typical travel lists, and some unexpected discoveries along the way."
Crystal Endeavor will be equipped with an onboard marina for launching kayaks and Zodiacs, two helicopters, a submarine and heated storage for drying parkas. Additional features include private butler service for each suite, a two-story solarium with a pool, and six restaurants including Crystal favorites such as Prego and Nobu's Umi Uma.
