Aurora Expeditions has launched two new cruise itineraries in response to customer feedback on where they would like to go next.
West Greenland Explorer and Iceland Circumnavigation were voted as the top two Aurora Expeditions' itineraries according to almost 1,000 people who participated in the survey. The new itineraries are featured in the Aurora Expeditions' 2020/21 program, which launched in January 2019.
Aurora Expeditions’ Head of Marketing & Product, Victoria Primrose, said the 10-night round-trip itineraries were a sign of Aurora Expeditions’ commitment to its customers.
“We asked our adventurous and well-travelled customer base what destinations they want to visit next, and we listened,” Victoria said.
“Like the rest of the new 2020/21 program, the West Greenland Explorer and Iceland Circumnavigation expeditions have been carefully curated to give passengers the opportunity to explore rugged and far-reaching destinations.”
The Iceland Circumnavigation departs Reykjavik on 2 June 2020 and takes in remote bays and fjords, Europe’s largest glacier, black sand beaches, glacial lagoons and offers the chance to spot whales in Húsavík and soak in the geothermal waters of Mývatn Nature Baths.
Departing Greenland’s capital, Nuuk, on 18 May 2020, the West Greenland Explorer offers an intrepid cruise experience through Greenland exploring the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ilulissat Icefjord and taking Zodiac-cruises along the striking coastline, crossing icebergs and glaciers, and watching for whales as they pass by the ship.
Passengers can book the West Greenland Explorer and Iceland Circumnavigation and save up to 25 percent with Aurora Expeditions' early bird deal. The deal is applicable to all Aurora Expeditions voyages booked and deposited by 31 March 2019, or until sold out.
