(2:55 p.m. GMT) – P&O Cruises has revealed a new lineup of guest chefs set to join Britannia’s Cookery Club on select 2019 sailings, including chef and presenter of BBC’s "Saturday Kitchen" Matt Tebbutt, chef and author Sabrina Ghayour, chocolatier Paul A Young and Michelin-star chef Robert Thompson.
Each chef will offer masterclasses in The Cookery Club, take part in Q&A sessions and book signings and host dinners at the Chef’s Table.
It was revealed in September 2018 that P&O Cruises' long-time partner, celebrity chef Marco Pierre White, had been made patron of Britannia's Cookery Club with the chef scheduled to appear on five sailings in 2019, departing May 18, June 15, June 29, August 17 and August 24.
Marco Pierre White’s May 18 voyage is one of the line’s Food Heroes sailings in the Norwegian Fjords. The programme will offer passengers the chance to learn about local food delicacies and take part in cookery classes with the chef in Stavanger.
P&O Cruises president, Paul Ludlow, said: "Each of these vibrant, contemporary chefs have very different styles of cooking, they are all hugely successful and incredibly passionate about what they do."
