NCL is definitely shifting the business model.. this ship was league's below in quality of spaces and services over previous NCL experiences (bliss, breakaway, spirit etc). Generally, the uplifts are extreme now.. general "complimentary" dining is much smaller and somewhat lowered quality. The ship is new, beautiful, greatly designed and built. The bad is that NCL did offer incredible low prices in the last 3 or 4 weeks, after we had booked and overfilled the ship. We chose this cruise because we have cruised the eastern Caribbean many times with P & O, flying directly to Barbados. Cruising from NYC to the Western Caribbean offered something different, with a different cruise line and a very different demographic on board. We got disable-room , hard to get ,we like 14 days cruise. And was done over. Our balcony was not for wheelchair or scooters ,very narrow ,and doors were old ,we also got locked out .The room was very nice ,clean,great handicap-room .
