Embarkation was smooth and fast for us. We arrived at port around 12:45, we were on the ship and in our cabin by 1:00. This is our 2nd cruise on the Voyager of the Seas. We went to Windjammer cafe for light lunch and watched the ship barely fit under the bridge. My wife and I had the first seating for dinner. All dinners in the main dinning room were excellent. Service of the waiter and his ...

I'm not going to write a long winded review, as I feel like I would be repeating a lot of information that is already echoed here on these boards... I will highlight a couple things though... Embarkation: Good... however, the first thing I smelled (and it was quite prevalent) was sewage... I'm not sure if it is just the location of the embarkation door, but, they need to do something about ...

Although the weather report posted on this web site of July 24th said that TS Franklin was no threat, RCCL thought that it was. The ship's destination was altered at noontime the day of sailing. Instead of a warm, albeit rocky day at sea, and beautiful pink beaches of Bermuda, the decision was made to send us NORTH to New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. Average temp. in the Am 42-48 degrees F with gale ...

My wife and I took a 5 night cruise out of Bayonne, NJ bound for Canada. I had always wanted to see the Bay of Fundy, with its 40 foot tidal drop in a matter of hours. Our stops were in St. John, NB, and Halifax, NS. The embarkation was smooth as silk. On a clear, cool night, pulling out of the berth and heading out to sea while passing under the Verrazano Bridge was magic. The ship was big, and ...

Embarkation/Debarkation: Getting on the ship at Port Liberty was quick and efficient. We arrived at 1 p.m. and were on the ship by 2 p.m. I went straight to my room to drop off my carry on bag, and my luggage was already there. Leaving the ship is a bit of a pain. We needed to be out of our state rooms by 8 a.m., and there were three areas to wait in until our color was called, and they were ...

This was our first cruise, so I don't have anything to compare to, but this ship is really fabulous. The artwork is astounding. It's integrated into the entire ship. Even the staterooms have limited edition signed and numbered prints! We enjoyed walking around and exploring all the various public areas. As some have stated, you take your chances with the Canadian weather, but I think we lucked ...

Voyager of the Seas September 24, 2004. We're in our 40's (ok, wrong side of 45) and this was our 14th cruise, 8th with RCI. We always fly to the port a day ahead, but this cruise sailed from Cape Liberty, NJ, and was within driving distance from home. Leaving a day early was unnecessary. We left home about 7 a.m. for the ride to Cape Liberty, only 3 hours away. This was one of the easiest ...

This was my first cruise. My husband surprised me for my 35th birthday. It was a 9 night cruise that was supposed to be going to Jamaica, Grand Cayman, Labadee and the Bahamas. Because of the damage from the hurricanes, we went to Labadee, Puerto Rico, St. Martin and St. Thomas. Accompanying my husband and I was our 13 year old daughter and my 14 year old brother. My husband chose the Voyager of ...

Just got back from the 5 day VOS cruise out of NJ. Embarkation onto the ship took less than 10 minutes. We thought that was pretty amazing considering the amount of passengers sailing. We left Providence at 1:30 and got to the ship at 6:00 and were in our cabin by 6:15. We had an outside cabin on deck 3 that was very spacious. The only complaint we have is that the beds were extremely ...
