Horrible Experience

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Caribbean Princess

I wanted to go to Greenland and am an Elite with Princess. It started by Princess refusing to tell anyone where the ship was docking. It only said Manhattan or Brooklyn. You had to guess which one. On thenpast they sent emails to tell which one. It was not in the app either. The they have anytime dining which to me means get in line and get seated in order of arrival. No they give reservations and ...

Never Again!

We chose this cruise because it visited the western part of Greenland which was new to us. We are Elite and took a veranda room on 10. This was cruise number 110. It was the worst cruise we’ve ever been on. The ship was full to capacity which meant it was very crowded. Design of ship just is not meant for 3500 people. It was difficult to simply find a place to sit and have a drink at anytime. ...

Ports are great but that’s it

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Regal Princess

We chose the cruise due to hearing such great things about princess. There was absolutely nothing to do onboard besides shop... As two 30yr olds on our honeymoon it was completely boring on the days at sea. We found ourselves in our extremely warm cabin since the a/c didn’t seem to work. Even after complaining it still wasn’t fixed. Staff for the most part was great but doesn’t make up for the ...

Very disappointed with Princess

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Regal Princess

We had been dedicated to the Princess Cruise line after a great experience with them. This 10-day, 3-port cruise was expected to be more of that same great experience. However, it was NOT! The food was horrible, the crew was in a bad mood/attitude and it showed. It was bad enough that we are probably going to cancel the cruise that we already had booked for 2020. Princess is no longer ...

Forgotten and neglected

We chose this cruise for the itinerary, After first day I was injured and not able to return to ship, due to being hospitalized for 4 days. No one from Princess has yet to inquire what happened to us, or where we were. So much for checking in and out with the new Medalion system. They had our phone # do they not care about their passengers? It's been 2 weeks. Yet they were happy to charge my ...

I have been fighting a death diagnosis for 2 years and I gave this to my husband to thank him for his love and support before heading back to treatment. From the day prior this was a nightmare. Norwal virus outbreak on previous cruise delayed our departure. When we finally got on ship it was chaos. No one knew what the other was doing. Food was truly inedible. Not once did I have a hot meal ...

Trip to Greenland

We were excited about a trip to Greenland with Princess. We had not sailed with Princess in a number of years, last trip was on the Star Princess from Italy to the Greek Isles. Princess has cut expenses in every category. The experience was very mediocre. Cabin very small, shower for midgets, food that tasted like it came from Cracker Barrel, waiting 2 1/2 hours to get a tender to shore, another ...

Princess has dropped the ball. They are not the best, as was advertised.

It was rated the Best New England Cruise Land combination. Or so the advertisement said. Best for them because they have cut quality of food, shows, room size, Just over all, poorly run. We will never cruise with princess again!! Best thing the Cruise Director Matt O'. Matt did his best to keep up morale, tall order for someone trying to save a sinking ship. Food was not up to par and ...

Too geriatric

We chose this cruise because of the ports. Normally, we sail with Royal Caribbean but chose Princess for a change of venue. VERY disappointing. Food was institutional. Staff was robotic and generally non-energetic/not concerned with providing a high quality of experience. It felt like an old age home. Average age was in the late 70's. Even the casino was boring. FYI, ST John should not be a port. ...

We booked this for a late Summer luxury treat. We chose a Suite and enjoyed this tremendously and could not fault a thing. The on board experience was also excellent from a dining perspective and also the bars/bar entertainment was good. The general shows were of a poor quality and it seems Princess is downgrading from a cost perspective. The on shore activity was also mediocre with the ...
