We just got back from a six day cruise to Bermuda aboard the Norwegian Spirit. My DH and I were joined on this sailing by my Nephew and his girlfriend. We were in an AC suite and my Nephew was in a balcony a few cabins down. As all of you had read the itinerary for this sailing was changed at the last minute to Bermuda due to the impending storms. This was fine with us as the ship is just as ...

My husband and I are in our 30's and we included our 3 teenagers 15-14-12 on our recent trip. We spent 4 days prior to the cruise in NYC seeing all the necessary sites. Honestly, the cruise was more like a vacation from NY after spending the previous 4 days running around like crazy through NY trying to absorb it all. We were exhausted! Our itinerary was originally Florida and Bahamas, but ...

This cruise was our 8th cruise, the second and last on Norwegian. Getting on the ship was fairly easy as we were lattitude members, so after waiting for a wedding party to get on, we were second. We could not go to our rooms until 2:00 so we went to the Windows dining room for lunch. I felt very optimistic as the room was very pretty and tastefully decorated. The salad was very good, the tilapia ...

We were on the May 5-13 sailing. I have been on on 25 or 30 ships (including troop ships - as a "passenger"). Yes, I'm getting on in age. The embarkation in NY, was as usual a bit confusing. However, it is really not painful. Parking at the pier is easy. You drop off your companion and all your luggage - you'll see it next outside your cabin door. Finding parking is easy. There are clear signs ...

Embarkation was a breeze. A work pal and I took different modes of transport to NY. I was afraid that Ernesto would hamper air travel from DC, so took Amtrak, she kept her flight without any delays or problems. We met at the pier at 11 am and were on board by 1:00. (The ship was 2 hours late arriving. We did hear that folks arriving later than us waited in line for longer). We first ate at the ...

This was the first time my husband and I cruised with Norwegian, we have only done RC cruises, but with all the "HYPE" of Freestyle, we thought we would give it a try. Like most couples after a stressful year, we look so forward to one week of heaven. We received anything BUT heaven, more like purgatory on water. Embarkation was a laugh, you stand on line line a bunch of others waiting to be ...

My husband, daughter (20) and I have been on quite a few cruises. We lived in Atlanta and would drive down to Florida for last minute cruises whenever the price was right. NCL and Princess were the only two lines we had not sailed on, therefore, when we moved to Connecticut and found a good price for The NCL Spirit out of New York for 8 days May 20 to the 28. Since we could drive to the port to ...

Just returned from the Thanksgiving cruise on the Spirit and we had a truly wonderful time. The ship is really beautiful and interesting, and as many people have said is like a smaller version of the Dawn. I see that there are quite a lot of negative reviews cropping up, I was expecting that, as there were many unhappy people on the cruise, complaining about various things, and whilst I agree ...
