Three sisters from Kentucky and Randon Lauron, guitarist/vocalist from Phillipines.
Gatsby’s is best hangout, but super crowded since it’s the only good nightlife option.

This was my first NCL cruise, traveling with a group of about 25 people ranging in age from 5-55. I chose this cruise for the itinerary, Belize and Roatan, no flying and school vacation week. The bus ride from Boston was a bit scary, but it got us there. It took about an hour to board the ship. Leaving NY harbor is beautiful. Weather was calm the entire cruise. Freestyle dining, not for us. We ...

This was our second cruise on the Norwegian Dawn and our fourth NCL cruise. We took an up sell from a balcony to a penthouse AE suite for a great price. Having a penthouse gave us special perks such as priority embarkation and disembarkation, priority tenders, butler service, etc... Needless to say all these extras helped make this one of our best cruises ever. We enjoyed eating a full breakfast ...

NCL Dawn: Western Caribbean 3/11 - 3/22 Cat BB / 10528 We flew in to LGA a few days before the cruise to use up some Marriott points at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square...what an absolute treat!! Perhaps the most comfortable beds anywhere! And you can't beat the location. Spent a few days riding the subway everywhere - even up into Harlem where we had the real New York experience of seeing a ...

First let me say we booked our cruise for the itinerary . At the minute our itinerary changed. We lost Great Stirrup Cay and Jamaica and they added Key West. After a little repacking we were ready to go. WE drove to my in laws and took a Limo from there. The Limo was great and a very easy way to get to the pier. Our luggage was taken by the porter and we waited on line for about 15 min. to ...

The Dawn 1/29-2/8/07 a Great Cruise! This was our 7th cruise on the Dawn and one of our best! Embarkation: We arrived at Pier 90 at 11:15am and headed to the VIP/Latitudes waiting area with our friends. We were traveling with my co-worker, Sharon & her mom, Janet. They had sailed on the Jewel out of Miami last year. Boarding for suites started at 12:45pm, we kept our friends with us and went ...

First off I'd like to say that I had a wonderful vacation! After reading many of the reviews for the dawn, I was a bit nervous and concerned because a great deal of the comments were negative. I am glad that I went with an opened mind. My trip was great. I left from NYC on 1/28/07 and returned on 2/8/07. I will try my best to give as much details as possible. Embarkation: My mother and I arrived ...

Dawn Review 1/28-2/8 -cruised with wheelchair/scooter As I was writing this review I realized that some others had also reviewed this cruise so I wasn't going to post. Then I thought that our perspective (traveling with a wheelchair, etc.) may be helpful to other future cruisers. This was our second cruise and it was the first time on NCL. There were four of us including my dad in a ...

I had read some reviews of this cruise that were not very complimentary, so I was a little concerned, but I didn't tell anyone. My lady and I got a ride to the pier from nearby New Jersey. It took less than 30 minutes, door-to-door. We left our luggage with the luggage people and entered the very large waiting room at 12:30. There were already hundreds of people there. I thought that we had ...

We arrived at the pier around 12:45. The lattitudes line was very short but the people who were not members had to wait through a huge line. Luckily, we are lattitudes members and were on board the ship by 1:oo. This was the second trip for my wife and I on the Dawn. The room was normal size for a cruise ship with a very nice closet and bathroom. The cabin guys, Eduardo and Raymond, did a great ...

This is my 6th cruise, first with NCL. I have previously cruised with Carnival, RCL and Celebrity. This is my husbands preferred method of travel as he hates to fly and since we live in NJ we can get to NY or Baltimore in a few hours and off we go...nice as it also saves the cost of airfare. Ship-Nice size, not too big and not too small. Very clean and nice colors. Staff-Nothing outstanding. ...
