We had to line up for hours outside the terminal in NYC in freezing temps, I saw an ambulance take away an elderly man who collapsed.
The food in the main dining areas was sub-standard, we paid the excess to eat at the better quality restaurants, and there was a massive difference in quality.

had terrible service at bars. bar tenders worked hard, but needed help to keep up.

First day was a bust due to tragic circumstances beyond Norwegian's control: Breakaway was engaged in search and rescue operation of man overboard from a cargo ship and then had a medical emergency on board.
