The Great Outdoors. Has a nice size bar and buffet. Best of all, it's own soft-serve ice machine.

We were invited to cruise on the Norwegen Gem by our daughters Girl Scout troop, it will be their last get together before they all go off to college in the fall. It was a GREAT cruise experience for us. We were able to get an upgrade to a penthouse, My family will never forget this experience.from the moment we showed ID in NYC to leaving the boat 7days later was top notch.the cabin was ...

We were very impressed by NCL. The dining choices, entertainment, beverage package, activities, and the professionalism of the entire staff on board made this cruise one of my top two vacations ever. We Loved the freestyle dining options. We loved how here was no need to set a time to eat , just show up and be hungry. We also bought a few dinners at the specialty restaurants which were tasty. ...

We chose this cruise because it set sail and returned to New York. I cannot say enough about the service and the cuisine provided by Norwegian Cruise Lines. Every employee we encountered had beaming, smiling faces at all time. The food was magnificent! The entertainment was also wonderful! The shows were filled with marvelously talented young people with magnificent voices and choreography. The ...

My fiance and I chose Norwegian because of the convenience of the NYC port. It was his first cruise, my 3rd cruise but 1st with Norwegian. Pretty confident that we have found our sole cruise line! The Gem provided us with the small ship experience but big ship excitement. We had plenty to do each day, whether it was relax at the spa or attend a show. Recommendations: - I highly recommend ...

I picked this cruise itinerary because I’ve been on 3 other NCL Cruises and I wanted a different itinerary leaving out of NY. Overall, my friend and I were very pleased. I have to say the food was good and plentiful. I like the fact that they had 5 complimentary dining areas. We did go to the Teppanyaki Restaurant and paid a coverage charge. The food was good, as well as the entertainment from ...

Canada New England cruise NY on June 2. Celebrating our 60th birthdays. We had a suite. Could not say enough about the service throughout. From dining to the bartenders to the concierge. Our butler Teresa was amazing. Our concierge Elvina was always there when we needed her from the moment we got on to when we left. The entertainment in lounges was so good. We went there every night ...

This was the 5th time in 5 years, we took the 14 day cruise to Canada/New England and to Florida/Bahamas - Back to Back. We come back each year because we enjoy it and know what to expect. We stayed in a two-bedroom suite on Deck 11. This included the Butler, Concierge and Moderno's for Breakfast and Cagney's for Lunch. The ports of call included Halifax, NS; St. John, NB; Portland, ME; ...

We chose this cruise because we love the Gem, and we needed this cruise to become platinum latitude members, for our next 14 day cruise. We were in a front penthouse, an excellent choice of cabin. A lot of room, with a butler and concierge, to help with reservations and problems. We received afternoon snacks from the butler everyday when we returned to the cabin to get ready for the evening. ...

I chose this cruise because it was a smaller ship, the departure city of New York was easier to travel to than flying and paying a lot more money. This cruise was affordable as well. Embarkation was a very smooth process, disembarkation was not so easy because of the time it took to go through customs and the fact that it took three hours to do so since there were only two agents working on a busy ...
