This was our 10+ cruise on the NCL Gem, knowing she will be leaving NYC soon. We wanted to have a good send off by doing a B2B (8/11 & 8/18). As always the Gem is still beautiful and powerful. Excellent room steward service. We had a very comfortable cruise due to his hard work and hospitality. Poor water delivery service. It took whole one day the bottles of waters delivered to us. We have travelled on 9 cruises to date and this was our 5th NCL Cruise ,Our only negative on the Norwegian Gem would be the lack of waiting staff and the lack of enthusiasm from waiters.

Awesome time on the boat! Perfect weather in all the ports. Florida and Bahamas ports were clean and we felt safe when traveling. Gem has a good reputation for food, I had a 12 yr old and the kids club dropped the ball huge.
They even rescheduled a time I left an activity to go to the outdoor court only to find out there had been a schedule adjustment.
Leaving the ship was totally unacceptable and not the impression you want a paying customer to as the last impression.
