You get what you pay for but generally good

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Norwegian Escape

I wanted a low cost cruise and I got it. The Escape has obvious design flaws, pools are too small and not enough elevators, and 6 hot tubs for 4000 people is not enough, but beyond that was fun time. The entertainment was really excellent and a lot to do. After Midnight was great and so was Choir of Man. The "side" shows Fab 4, the comedians and Kid Ace (magic) were also great. The water ...

It was a birthday gift, I just had to pay for excursions, amenities, ect. But little did I know it'd be as much of a pain in the butt, as it was a vacation. Boarding the ship initially was a chore, surprised they do this every week, during boarding, security stole my knives, even though they were allowed according to the prohibited items list on the website. I got a wonderful massage on the first ...

I chose this cruise since it was close to my port. We arrived at the port and hadabsolutely no waiting at all (we have sailed with Norwegian many times are wererewarded for loyalty). We feel they take care of their loyal customers in severalways. We had many great meals especially Cagneys which is our favorite (Steak and Lobster) how can you go wrong. We also like the Manhattan Room which is ...

We are a couple with two boys ages 13 and 15. There was plenty to keep us busy on this cruise. The food was very good- excellent including the buffet. We loved O’Sheehans restaurant that was open 24 hrs, as we are a family of night hawks, lol. The boys looked forward to late night wings and nachos and we really miss it now that we are home. We really liked the Freestyle dining and not rushing to ...

Review October 27, 2019 NCL Escape Day 1 Sunday, October 27 arrived at pier in NYC around 12:10 because we were told via VM check in only between Noon and 3 due to coast guard inspection. Apparently we were the only ones told because at Haven check in we were checked in and immediately online to board ship. However, no Haven staff to bring us on board and we had to find our way on. When we got ...

I choose this cruise because of the port of embarkation. The boarding process was horrific even though I had checked in online when I got to the port it was congested and I waited in line for one hour before being processed. Disembarking in Orlando took over 45 minutes standing in line again and some guests did not disembark as they were put off by the long line. The 3 restaurants onboard that are ...

We went out of Manhattan Ny and I thought that would be a royal pain in the a.. but it wasn't that bad. We drove up at around 4 AM from south jersey on a Sunday and hit zero traffic. If you are parking at the port you will want to get there early. The ship was like all the other Norwegian ships, clean big and lots to do. I managed to get a deal on the haven suite which turned out to be the best ...

My husband and i have cruised 7 times, including this cruise, with 3 of those on the norwegian gem and 1 time on the breakaway. We really love norwegian for the freestyle cruising and i feel like we get the most out of our money with them. The escape was the biggest ship we’ve been on and it was really nice. However, it might be because its so large that getting on and off took forever at both ...

An old pal flew out from California for our first Girls' Week Out cruise. We knew we would have a good time, especially with Unlimited Beverage and Select Dining packages included. The difference between a fun vacation and our unforgettable experience proved to be a major upgrade. Initially, we had booked a Mid Ship Balcony cabin (size about 250 square feet) on deck 14. . . OK, but tight ...
